Weight Loss Recipe Pomegranate and raspberry syrup

Ingredients:


  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 1/4 cups caster sugar
  • 1/2 vanilla bean, split


Instructions:


  1. Place all ingredients in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until sugar has dissolved.
  2. Increase heat to high. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat to medium- low. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until slightly thickened. Cool.
  3. Strain through a fine sieve into a bottle or jug. Discard solids. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until chilled.
